Shibori: ancient Japanese dyeing technique. Thanks to the particular folds and bindings, unique effects are obtained. The best known and most widespread vegetable dye in this tradition is Indigo which is extracted from the Indigofera Tinctoria (Leguminosae family). This color is also called "Genoa Blue" used to dye jeans, the most famous informal trousers in the world.
